ORGANOID on a stamp: the coffee stamp of Austrian Post

ORGANOID KAFFEELEDER Oberfläche auf der Kaffeebriefmarke der Österreichischen Post

Since 1 October 2026, Austrian Post has issued a stamp that smells of coffee. The stamp is shaped like a coffee bean and made with the ORGANOID COFFEE LEATHER surface.

Real coffee grounds go into the stamp. It looks like coffee, feels like coffee and smells of coffee, turning a stamp into an experience for the eyes, the fingertips and the nose.

“It looks like coffee, feels like coffee and smells of coffee.”

The stamp was designed by Anja Derkits of Stampfinity. The video shows how coffee grounds become a surface and the surface becomes a stamp.
