Our HPL laminate (High Pressure Laminate) in accordance with EN 438 stands out for its high stability, durability, and versatile range of applications.

Properties:

  • Robust & homogeneous panel material (raw density > 1.4 g/cm³)

Technical Data:

  • Format: 3,050 × 1,320 mm; 4.026 m² (= MOQ)
  • HPL 0.8 to 1.1 mm according to DIN EN 438 and ISO 4586
  • Flexible bending radius from 350 mm
  • Flame-retardant in composite structure (B-s1, d0 according to EN 13501-1)
  • Safe for food contact according to EN 1186

Installation of Organoid natural surfaces on HPL engineered wood:

  • Use like common HPL-panels, on many surfaces and constructions
  • Trim the HPL panels by approx. 2 cm along all edges (because of the material density from the scattering technique)
  • Cover the natural surface with the enclosed separating paper
  • Pressing temperature max. 60 °C
  • For sensitive wood-working applications, use a counter-balance (enclosed on request)
  • For cutting, use panel saws, table saws, hand-held circular saws, jigsaws, but also CNC-milling.
  • Pre-trials recommended

Processing tips

Material

Baumbart, as these fine tree lichens are called in Tyrolean German, thrives only at high altitudes where the air is clear and pristine. These hardy survivors grow slowly, withstand extreme temperatures, and naturally filter pollutants from the air – true talents of nature!
